Episode 18: Summer in the City!

Episode 18: Summer in the City! You can listen here!

Soooo….from Susan’s backyard:

Off our needles- Susan  finished her Calla Cami by Carrie Bostick Hoge. Knit in Sparrow in the  color (or lack of !) Sans . Such a fun knit and it even fits!

Also off Susan’s needles, is the Flying Home Shawlette- another Quince and co pattern. This one was knit using one skein of Tern in the Seagrass colorway. This photo was taken against Susan’s backyard ‘Italy wall’ ; which is really just the back of a garage with grapevines growing on it. But when we sit in front of it , we imagine we are in Italy. Last but not least, Susan finished her Hakusa scarf.

On the Needles: Sally is working on a pair of Cutest Booties , an adorable Yarn Harlot pattern, and using some lovely Claudia Handpaint sock yarn. These are really the Cutest Booties- even before the pom-poms !

On Susan’s needles is the Celebrating Azzu’s Shawl in Madelinetosh Sock in the Home colorway-  a lovely combination of browns, blues, gold and pink. Also on Susan’s needles is the Beaded Cuff from a Laura Nelkin kit.

In Our Stashes: only Susan added to her stash- Sally has been very good ! Susan purchased  a skein of Pakucho Organic Lace Cotton in Rustic Avocado for the Emily Shawl.

In Our Queues: Pendulum! Kris mentioned this in our last episode, and then after  hearing the Yarniacs rave about it  in Episode 11 , it is now at the top of Susan’s queue!
