Our apologies for posting this episode a bit late- we recorded a little later, on our knitting weekend away. A perfect weekend in so many ways!
But then there was the ‘missing audio’- somehow our stash section did not get recorded….or did it? We will instead be recapping this month’s stash enhancement next month. In the meantime:
Check our forum page on Ravelry to see the projects that have been shared with us. Add your own projects! We love seeing them.
Off The Needles:
Kris is excited to have two items off the needles! One was the Churchmouse Shoulder Cozy which came in handy as the temperature dipped on the Cape, and the other was a Dangling Conversation with beads that was bound off while recording.
Susan also finished her second Dangling Conversation.
Susan had a soft pair of One Cable Mitts off her Needles. These are BubbleGum Pink! in Classic Elite Majestic Tweed.
Sally finally finished her Liesl, but not before taking her knitting Old School.
On The Needles:
Kris has the Churchmouse One by One Two by Two scarf on her needles. The pattern is free and she bought the kit in the Big Sister colorway — the five balls of British Blue Wool are quite adorable.
Susan has another pair of One Cable Mitts on her needles, and she has just started Levenwick in Swann’s Island Worsted in the Sorbet colorway. So pretty!
Sally Is knitting along on her long awaited Aftur, knit with yarn cousin Molly brought back for Iceland. The real deal. Cool, old fashioned, rustic knitting. She has also pledged to finish her That Nice Stitch for a certain someone’s birthday. Another great pattern from Susan Ashcroft.
One project that Kris just couldn’t get out of her mind is Basalt which she saw made up at Gather Here in Cambridge — there’s something about that bright teal i-cord border! That’s now on the needles too. Another is the Slip Stitch Dishtowels from the Purl Bee. Three colors of Euroflax were purchased from Webs to use along with the black that’s been in the stash for years.
